This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide specialized instruction and collaborate within a dedicated team at an elementary school. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with likely pre- and post-planning days included. You’ll work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, focusing on a small group of 8-9 students within an inclusion setting, ensuring individualized support and growth.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid GaPSC Teaching Educator Certification with Special Education General Curriculum endorsement
• Classroom experience supporting students with a range of exceptionalities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in team-based settings
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Experience delivering differentiated instruction within an inclusion classroom is preferred
• Commitment to fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment
• Flexibility and a proactive approach to meeting student and team needs

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with two dynamic grade-level teams to support student achievement in an inclusion classroom
• Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Implement and track progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support for students
• Maintain accurate records and assist with planning and reporting as needed
