Applicant must be capable of handling cases throughout the litigation process with supervision. Experience with motion practice essential. The position will be responsible for civil litigation cases.Examples of Civil Litigation Attorney responsibilities:Meet with clients in your office to discuss legal issues and to devise litigation strategiesResearch cases by interviewing witnesses, reading depositions, reviewing evidence and speaking with the client to determine the best strategy for their legal matterDraft motions and other papers. Conduct discovery. Depose party opponents, experts and third partiesAttend all hearings on behalf of clients and argue in support of motions and papers.Conduct hearings and trials as requiredAssist clients with executing settlement agreementsThe position is full time.
