Machine Operator 2nd Shift

This position reports to the Fabrication Supervisor. The job description and duties include setting up and operating various machines such as the Fastener Insertion Machine, Semi-Automatic Welding Equipment, Wide Belt Sander, and Vibratory Tumbling Machines. The role also involves receiving, checking, and handling inventory, inspecting parts and products for defects, following work instructions, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, technical certification, ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English, teamwork and communication skills, proficiency in reading engineering prints, attention to detail, ability to stand for long periods, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally. The work environment includes exposure to chemicals, machinery, dust, paint, and noise, with protective clothing and equipment required.
