Job Description RR Donnelley is adding a Legal Document Specialist to their onsite 3rd Shift team. We are seeking a Word Processing professional to work onsite in our Downtown Phoenix office. The role supports time-sensitive project requests by collaborating with a team across multiple shifts and locations. Candidates should enjoy producing quality work and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Knowledge in legal word/document processing using various software tools and the Microsoft Office suite is an added advantage. Onsite Shift Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Training: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM Hourly Pay Rate: $19.19 + $3.00/hr. shift premium. This role is eligible for a $2,000.00 Sign-On Bonus Responsibilities Create, edit and format legal documents to firm specifications using a variety of software applications Convert, clean and format documents to/from different file formats Create charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets as requested Create and/or edit Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents Perform data entry utilizing various software applications Transcribe analog or digital dictation files Restore/recover corrupted document files as necessary Provide telephone help desk support to troubleshoot application queries Complete all assigned jobs by the deadline in an accurate and timely manner Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information Follow established policies and procedures at all times Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned Other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Flexibility to work overtime as required Ability to work through complex legal document markups and instructions in a timely and accurate manner Ability to prioritize various requests and deadlines simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact with client and team members in a professional and respectful manner at all times Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 95% accuracy Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree with 3+ years experience in legal word processing or document production environment preferred Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required Experience and exposure in legal word processing tasks including creating TOAs/TOCs, inserting automated cross-references, converting PDFs to Word, applying Word styles using macros, troubleshooting problem documents including redlines and multi-numbering schemes Transcription experience a plus Knowledge of legal terminology and legal citations preferred Additional Information The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $19.19/hour. Typically, roles follow step progressions to target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, total compensation may include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
