Estate Planning Paralegal

Title: Estate Planning Paralegal — Lakeway, TX (In-Office)

Location: Lakeway, TX (Lake Travis area) — On-site, full-time

Total Compensation Package: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Health insurance contribution may be available as part of the compensation package and will be discussed at offer stage; PEEPL Law is candid that as a growing practice, benefits packages are still developing.

About the Role:

PEEPL Law has a steady and growing estate planning practice serving Lake Travis–area families, professionals, and small business owners. We're looking for an experienced estate planning paralegal to take ownership of the drafting and client-management workflow.

What You'll Do:

• Draft wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, HIPAA releases, and related ancillary documents
• Manage client intake, asset inventories, beneficiary designations, and funding worksheets
• Coordinate signing ceremonies and notarization
• Handle trust funding follow-through (deeds, account retitling, beneficiary updates)
• Maintain client files and document retention per firm protocol
• Work directly with attorneys on plan design notes and client revisions

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years Texas estate planning paralegal experience (non-negotiable)
• Strong familiarity with the Texas Estates Code and Texas Trust Code
• Drafting fluency with modern estate planning drafting platforms — or willingness and demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Real estate experience helpful (deed prep, recording, transfer-on-death deeds)
• Tech-comfortable and adaptable — we are a tech-forward firm and expect proficiency with our tools
• Detail-oriented; estate planning is a precision discipline and we treat it that way
• TBLS Board Certified Paralegal in Estate Planning & Probate Law a strong plus

Hard Requirement — Location:

In-office, full-time at our Lakeway office. You must currently live in the Lake Travis area or be in the process of relocating here. We're building a community-based firm and we want team members who are part of the community.

Billable Hours:

Minimum billable hour expectations consistent with industry standards. Specifics discussed during interview.
