Wecurrently operate two successful Rocky's locations and are gearing up to open our thirdrestaurant this September, with aggressive plans to expand statewide across NorthDakota.At Rocky's, we pride ourselves on an elevated fast-casual experience, serving fresh,never-frozen steakburgers, loaded hot dogs made with premium all-beef franks, fresh-cut fries, home-made chili, hand-spun milkshakes, and more. We offer comfortabledining rooms, quick drive-thrus, online ordering, and third-party delivery.In addition to Rocky's, our group operates two very successful national franchise brandswithin North Dakota (one with 2 locations and the other with 3 locations).Position OverviewWe are seeking a strategic, hands-on Marketing and Brand Manager to join and growwith our company. You will spearhead Rocky's marketing strategy, marketing calendars,and manage budgets. In this role, you will be a driving force behind the growth ofRocky's Burgers, Franks & Fries as we scale from 2 locations to a statewide householdname. Additionally, you will take ownership of the local store marketing (LSM) budgetsfor our 5 national franchise locations.Because we believe our food is our best advertisement, you will be involved in menuinnovation for Rocky, collaborating closely with operations to help develop and launchexciting new culinary offerings. You will lead our internal creative direction whilepartnering with our outside advertising agency, which handles media placement.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Calendar & Budget Management: Develop, implement, and manage acomprehensive annual marketing calendar. Allocate and oversee the corporatemarketing budget for Rocky's, as well as the local store marketing (LSM) budgets forour other 2 national franchise brands to maximize ROI.Menu Innovation & Product Launches: Serve as a key partner in menudevelopment for Rocky. Use customer insights and food trends to brainstorm newmenu items (LTOs, seasonal shakes, etc.) and build marketing campaigns centeredaround our high-quality products.New Restaurant Openings (NROs): Create and execute strategic local marketingplaybooks to build buzz and drive grand opening traffic for new restaurant openings.Tech Stack Optimization: Leverage our Toast POS system and integrated digitaltools to analyze sales data, track customer behavior, and optimize promotionalcampaigns.Creative Direction & Content Creation: Oversee Rocky's visual identity,messaging, and voice. Direct internal creative work for in-store signage, menus,social media, email marketing, and digital platforms.Agency Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact for our outsideadvertising agency, ensuring they have the creative assets and strategic directionneeded for effective media placement.Local Influencers: Build and sustain collaborative relationships with localinfluencers, celebrities, and key media personalities.Omnichannel Growth: Optimize and market our digital revenue channels includingonline ordering platforms and third-party delivery services.QualificationsExperience: 3–5 years of marketing or brand management experience, with apreference for backgrounds in the restaurant, hospitality, or franchise industries.Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a relatedfield (or equivalent practical experience).Technical Skills: Some proficiency with restaurant technology is a plus but notrequired.Culinary Passion & Growth Mindset: A genuine love for the food industry and adesire to translate a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients into compellingmarketing stories. Energetic, self-motivated, and thrilled by the challenge of scalinga regional brand.Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting and data analysis skills; ability to balancecreative vision with business metrics (sales data, guest counts, and ROI).Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Fargo, ND area, with theability to occasionally travel regionally to support existing restaurants and new storeopenings.
