Location: 7151 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406

Summary: Primarily responsible for preparing menu items and receiving proper payment from customers for those items and providing an accurate accounting of dealership receipts.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Assists customers promptly in a friendly and courteous manner
• Computes customer bills
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
• Documents payment
• Accounts for money and receipts paid to the dealership
• Completes customer paperwork
• Answers customer questions and refers customer complaints to the appropriate manager
• Ensures that money and tickets are secured at night (fireproof safe)
• Prepares food for customers and employees
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company's Core Values
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned

Previous customer service and/or food preparation experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

o Valid Driver's License

o Automobile Salesperson License

Computer Skills:

Ability to learn the dealership computer system, cash register (if applicable), and other office machines.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily at the counter in the café or in kitchen environment. Work includes frequent cashier responsibilities and interaction with customers and employees. May be exposed to cleaning solutions and chemicals.


Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions.


Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Basic numerical aptitude.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
