Responsibilities Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the values and mission of James River Equipment and its product lines Builds lasting relationships with customers always focusing on long term growth Promotes JD equipment products to customers in their assigned territory, responsible for all sales activities from lead generation through closing the sale Interacts with existing and prospective customers to demonstrate products and explain features Monitors market conditions, competitor’s products and pricing Resolves problems and provides ongoing support to your customer base Works with customers to forecast annual machine needs Qualifications Sales experience in heavy equipment, rental equipment or related industry is required Knowledge of local markets, John Deere and / or competitive equipment preferred Strong time management and organizational skills, written and oral communication skills are required Ability to present and negotiate exceptionally well Basic knowledge of equipment financing and accounting Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Laptop, Smartphone and related products as well as experience utilizing CRM software Ability to travel in assigned territory Benefits In addition to salary plus commission, the successful candidate will receive: Extended health, dental, and vision insurance (day one of employment) Health savings account options Flexible spending account options Disability and life insurance 401k with employer match and profit share (after 90 days of employment) Annual PPE allowance Paid time off and paid holidays Employee recognition rewards program Opportunities to attend a yearly cruise for top performers Opportunities for leadership and professional growth Quarterly group outings, company events, and employee recognition programs #J-18808-Ljbffr James River Equipment
