Physician Executive- Neurosciences, Vice President Service Line Clinical Administration, NC/GA

Advocate Health has an opportunity within the National Service Line (NSL) of Neurosciences for a Vice President Service Line Clinical Administration for the North Carolina/Georgia Division . The North Carolina/Georgia Division has 40 hospitals, more than 500 sites of care, and nearly 11,000 physicians (299 total Neuroscience clinicians).

The Neurosciences service line in the North Carolina/Georgia Division includes:

\n

Stroke : 12 primary stroke centers, 2 comprehensive stroke centers, and 1 thrombectomy ready site

\n

Neurology : 3 Level I neuro critical care units, 3 Level III epilepsy monitoring unit, 1 neurology infusion center

\n

Neurosurgery : 3 Level I Trauma Centers

\n

\n

This role is based in North Carolina/Georgia, the leader will ideally reside in Charlotte, NC or the surrounding areas (relocation available).

\n

\n

Responsible for informing and delivering the overall strategic, clinical and operational leadership of the service line across the Division and is expected to play a lead role in driving outstanding performance by physicians and APPs in all environments across the system, in partnership with the Department Chairs and Division service line administrative leaders. Oversees area clinical leaders and help support the efforts of the specialty leaders in their division. Builds strategy for care delivery, quality performance, growth and strategic hiring, service line budgets and enterprise integration work.

This physician executive role offers the opportunity to lead strategic and operational initiatives across the service line while maintaining an active clinical practice. The position is designed with a balanced commitment of approximately 50% leadership responsibilities and 50% direct patient care.

Education Required:

\n

•Graduate of an accredited medical school

\n

\n

Certification/License:

\n

•MD or DO required

\n

•Board certification in a clinical discipline (Neurosciences preferred)

\n

\n

Experience Required:

\n

•Typically requires 10 years of experience in leading and developing quality initiatives, improvements and programs to include, if necessary, appropriate metrics and benchmarks. Experience in or knowledge of healthcare services throughout the continuum of care.
