Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop integrated care plans.
• Support family involvement by providing education that fosters growth beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally handle inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the patient journey.
• Maintain precise, compliant documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first month of employment.
