Stable D.C. Metro Area general contractor in business since 1970 seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead field teams and own superintendent and project management duties across multiple local sites. This role will focus primarily on hospital and medical facilities, small base-building projects, high-end interiors, historical renovations, and some residential construction. The Superintendent leads crews independently while working with a dedicated project manager and coordinator, with responsibility for field supervision, project administration, and client and subcontractor coordination. Candidates should submit a complete work history and be proficient with computers.

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion across both commercial and residential sectors. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Oversee planning, scheduling, permitting, and site progress for custom projects.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, negotiate trade contracts, approve change orders, and drive overall profitability.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a point of contact for clients, architects, subcontractors, and municipal inspectors.
• Risk & Quality Control: Identify potential delays or budget risks early, enforce safety standards (OSHA), and maintain strict quality control on site.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in residential and commercial construction.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of building codes, budgeting, contract negotiation, and team communication.
• Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 30-Hour or PMP.
