Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements 13+ years of experience developing Diags, ONIE, BMC, BIOS/UEFI, and platform firmware for networking switch products, including 100G, 400G, 800G, and 1.6T Ethernet platformsStrong expertise in embedded software and firmware development, including operating systems, device drivers, platform management, networking protocols, and system-level software architectureDeep knowledge of platform security technologies and secure development practices, including PFR, RoT/eROT, Secure Boot, code signing, threat modelling, and SDL methodologiesProven ability to architect, develop, debug, and optimize complex, scalable software solutions, while providing technical leadership and mentoring across cross-functional engineering teamsExpert-level experience with UEFI/EDK II architecture, Broadcom SDKs, PHY drivers, and networking switch platforms, with a strong understanding of system integration, platform bring-up, and deployment within enterprise and hyperscale environmentsDesirable Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degreeAbility to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup; capability to influence others to achieve resultsCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Working in a fast-paced environment where innovation, technical leadership, and execution excellence are highly valued, you will drive product strategy, architecture, and delivery from concept through production.
