Required Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Certification: National certification as a Microbiology Technologist is mandatory. Licensure: A valid state license is required where applicable (CA, FL, GA, HI, LA, MT, NV, NY, ND, RI, WV).
