Job Title: Electrical Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman who is proficient in bending pipe, installing light fixtures, pulling wire, reading prints, troubleshooting, and wiring commercial outlets.

Responsibilities

• Expertly bend and install conduit pipes.

• Install and maintain lighting fixtures.

• Pull and connect wires according to project specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues effectively.

• Wire commercial outlets and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit bending and wire pulling.

• Ability to install light fixtures and read blueprints accurately.

• Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems.

• Knowledge of wiring commercial outlets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

• Completion of a trade school program.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work at a commercial construction site outdoors in the cold, as well as indoors. Be part of a team of five electricians led by a foreman. Wear construction and weather-appropriate gear along with PPE. The job site is an assisted living facility in Commack, with work required both outside and inside.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commack, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
