Job Summary The K–4 Teacher at St. Clement of Rome Catholic School provides a nurturing, faith-centered learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development of students in kindergarten through fourth grade. This position focuses on building strong foundational skills while fostering a love of learning grounded in Catholic values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, standards-aligned instruction in core subjects including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Religion
• Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and Gospel values into daily instruction and classroom routines
• Establish a safe, caring, and structured classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and Christian character
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and support student growth
• Assess student progress through formal and informal methods and use data to guide instruction
• Differentiate instruction to support students at varying academic levels
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and administration to support student success and school-wide goals
• Implement positive behavior management strategies consistent with school policies
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, school liturgies, and community events
• Uphold diocesan standards, accreditation requirements, and school policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification preferred
• Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
