Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Engage collaboratively with surgeons to devise and execute individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative support including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
