What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, and immunology, all while adhering to precise protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot anomalies, and perform regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection as needed and ensure samples are ready for testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, facilitate training for newcomers, and help maintain the highest laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while following regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure is required.
