Housekeeper

Department: Environmental Services Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Status: Full-Time Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Required Housekeeper Position Summary Riverside Nursing Home is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. As an 80-bed skilled nursing facility, we take pride in providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in infection control, resident satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility. No experience? No problem — we are willing to train the right candidate! Essential Job Duties Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors and surfaces Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility Clean dining areas, offices, lobby, and staff areas Follow infection control and safety procedures Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies Work respectfully and professionally around elderly residents Qualifications Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds as needed Reliable transportation required (facility is not on a bus line) Must be able to work 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Must be available to work every other weekend Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work well with elderly residents and as part of a team Experience Housekeeping experience preferred but not required We provide on-the-job training Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking Repetitive bending and reaching Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely Ability to work in a healthcare environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Riversidecenterrehab
