CLAIMS SERVICE REP – REMOTE IN MST

A nationally industry-leading Property & Casualty insurance company that's been honored as One of America's Top Employers (Forbes) and a Best Place to Work (Business Insurance) is seeking bright, motivated people for a Claims Service Representative position working from the comfort of your home.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers experiencing an unexpected loss to their vehicle, home or business. In that critical moment, you represent the company brand in your ability to respond with empathy so our customers can get back on the road, back in their home and/or back in business as easily as possible. Guided by your manager, you will provide general assistance to agents, insureds, and claimants, matching their needs with our services using provided scripts to assist you in serving our customers.

Pay Rate: $20/hour.

Location: Remote in the US, working in MST.

Shift:

Training will be 7:00-3:30 pm (MST). Post training the shift becomes 9:30-6:00 pm (MST), Saturday rotation post training and shift will be 6:30-3:00 pm (MST) (Two Saturdays per month rotation)

Key Responsibilities: · Respond to electronically and phone submitted claim losses and first notice of loss calls from claimants, insureds and other parties · Respond to calls on established claims in a polite, professional and empathetic manner and determine appropriate course of action · Perform rental reservation, appraisal assignments, Express Claim shops, Towing and water mitigation activities · Utilize established scripts, transcribes personal or commercial loss damage, or injury information into the company’s network generating an electronic claim file · Utilizes established workflows to initiate claim activities as required · Recognizes coverages, claim processing requirements and related claims systems · Contacts vendor to establish language services for language interpretation and translation

Qualifications:

· Associate’s Degree and 1 year of Call Center and/or office experience required.

· Typically 1 -3 years of experience in the service, financial or hospitality industry preferred.

· Comfortable navigating PCs and standard business software, and able to provide technical support and troubleshooting.

· Driven to be proficient with service delivery and quality metrics, insurance policy concepts, billing practices and technical troubleshooting skills.

· Able to commit to the entirety of the training program and receptive to coaching and feedback.
