Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Ortho/Neuro unit position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with orthopedic, spine, and neuro specialty patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR: Epic
• Weekend hours required per facility needs
• No on-call or float requirements
• 13-week contract in Oklahoma City, OK

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience overall, with at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience
• Experience in an ortho and/or spine specialty unit required
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility-provided light blue scrubs
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and are subject to a reduced bill rate
• Local candidates are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after that, a 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• All licenses and certifications must be active and not expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless a scheduled renewal is documented
