Whether you are beginning your career or bringing years of experience, you will have the opportunity to learn, contribute and grow with a company that is manufacturing strength and engineered to perform.Join our team and help build what comes next.Sign On Bonus - This position is eligible to receive a $2,500.00 sign on bonus (paid in installments) after you have worked 180 days. 3rd Shift can make up to $45.65/hr.Essential Job FunctionsWork from tool room schedule to ensure that production tooling and equipment is ready to meet customer requirementsTroubleshoot tooling problems at pressesWork with all employees to continuously improve quality and productionWork on production equipment when necessary to maintain productionRequisition supplies and spare parts for tool room and dies and keep these areas organizedMaintain clean work areasWork with outside tradesman as requiredAvailable for overtime as requiredAvailable for training as requiredSuggest methods of improvement (Continuous Improvement Plan)Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, &/or improvementsWork with Engineers to create &/or modify prints to reflect changesPerform Preventive maintenance by assignmentWilling to accept other additional job duties from next level leaderMinimum Qualifications/RequirementsEducation:Required - High School Diploma or GEDPreferred - Certified Toolmaker or 5 years experience in Tool and Die fieldWould be nice - Apprenticeship Program completionExperience and skill requirements:Minimum 3 years Tool and Die makerSelf-motivated, self-directed and able to make and meet specific goals in the Tooling DepartmentWilling to learn or possess computer skills including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CADWilling to learn simple electronics for sensor program assistanceLanguage Skills:Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language (English).Training:IATF16949 / ISO14001 / toolmaker baseline trainingTQPS Continuous Improvement trainingMistake Proofing Philosophy, Forklift CertificationOverhead Crane CertificationWork Environment/ConditionsPlant: Experience in various types of manufacturing environments.Travel: MinimalPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
