Job Summary:

Performs radiation therapy treatments for patients according to prescribed plans, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care. Maintains adherence to radiation safety protocols and provides support throughout the patient's treatment process.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer radiation treatments accurately following prescribed dosages and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Operate specialized equipment including Aria, Truebeam, and Align RT systems.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient response during therapy sessions and report any issues to the clinical team.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.
  
  
• 
  Follow all safety regulations to ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize treatment plans and patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid New York State license in radiation therapy.
  
  
• 
  ARRT or ASRT certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience.
  
  
• 
  Proficient in using Aria, Truebeam, and Align RT systems.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible day shifts, 5 days a week.
  
  
• 
  Must be vaccinated for flu, with no exemptions allowed.
