Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Veterinary Laboratory Technician to support our clinical team through accurate laboratory testing, specimen processing, and quality control. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Process laboratory samples and accurately enter results into the hospital information system. Prepare and submit specimens to outside reference and specialty laboratories. Perform routine quality control testing and maintenance on laboratory equipment. Maintain laboratory records, including temperature, shipping, and quality control logs. Receive, organize, and restock laboratory supplies. Communicate laboratory results and updates to veterinarians and support staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. Support timely diagnostics and high-quality patient care through accurate laboratory procedures. Qualifications Previous veterinary, medical, or laboratory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and computer skills. Experience with veterinary laboratory equipment and diagnostic testing is a plus.
