We are looking for someone to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager for our Arizona and Utah territory. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle as this is a travelling position during the work week. Due to the expanse of the territory, multiple overnights will be required for effective coverage. We have a wonderful travel expense reimbursement program as well as great benefits including 401K, vacation, insurance and ESOP. This position is salaried with commission.

Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts within an assigned territory. This role requires strong communication skills, independence, organization, and a positive, customer-focused approach. The position involves regular travel, with multiple overnights on a regular basis, product presentations, and hands-on management of samples.

• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently
• Self-starter mentality with strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities
• Excellent self-management skills to effectively plan and manage a sales territory
• Friendly, approachable disposition that fosters long-term customer relationships
• Knowledge of sewing and/or quilting is a plus
• Learning agility with enthusiasm for gaining new skills and product knowledge
• Ability to lift and maneuver sales samples weighing up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Manage and support existing customer accounts within the assigned territory to meet their business needs
• Present new product offerings to accounts, with new product showcases occurring four times per year
• Conduct outbound phone calls to plan territory visits, establish relationships with new accounts, and maintain communication with existing customers
• Prepare and organize sales samples efficiently for customer presentations
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to visit accounts approximately 2–4 times per year
• Maintain accurate travel logs and plan routes effectively to maximize territory coverage

While we stress the importance of working independently, the candidate will be joining a well establish team, covering other territories. Sales management and dedicated customer service team members in place as well for help with success.
