Recruiter IThe University Recruiter I supports high-volume hiring for Level 4 area managers in warehouse operations by managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding for a large, nationwide tech company. This role recruits, interviews, checks references, extends offers, and conducts orientation for new employees while also performing exit interviews and processing changes in employee status. The Recruiter I follows established processes and guidelines, works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and operates under the guidance of a supervisor or manager.ResponsibilitiesSource candidates proactively for Level 4 area manager roles in warehouse operations using multiple channels and tools.Manage high-volume recruiting activities, including screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.Conduct candidate interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for operational leadership roles.Check professional references and verify candidate information in alignment with established procedures.Extend job offers to selected candidates and clearly communicate role expectations and next steps.Conduct new hire orientations to ensure employees understand policies, procedures, and role requirements.Perform exit interviews to gather feedback and document reasons for employee departures.Process changes in employee status, ensuring accurate and timely updates in relevant systems and records.Follow pre-established recruiting guidelines, workflows, and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.Collaborate closely with supervisors, managers, and recruiting partners to meet hiring targets and timelines.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all recruiting activities, candidate interactions, and hiring decisions.Support recruiting operations by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and resolving scheduling issues.Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple requisitions and candidates simultaneously.Adhere to confidentiality standards and handle sensitive candidate and employee information appropriately.Continuously monitor pipeline health and provide updates on recruiting progress to stakeholders.Essential Skills1–3 years of experience in high-volume recruiting and/or sourcing.Experience in recruiting operations or as a recruiting coordinator, talent acquisition coordinator, or similar role.Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume hiring processes in a fast-paced operational environment.Strong sourcing skills, including identifying and engaging candidates through various channels.High attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage candidate data, documentation, and process steps.Highly process-oriented mindset, with the ability to follow established guidelines and standard operating procedures.Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in recruiting or human resources.Ability to work effectively under immediate supervision and take direction from a supervisor or manager.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple roles and candidates concurrently.Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders.Comfort with conducting interviews, reference checks, and orientations in a structured, process-driven environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field is typically preferred or may be required.0–2 years of experience in the field of recruiting or a related area is acceptable for entry into the role.Experience as a recruiting coordinator (RC), program coordinator, or in a high-volume administrative support role.Talent acquisition coordination or recruiting operations support.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and high-volume demands.Strong process improvement mindset and interest in refining recruiting workflows.Comfort working with standard recruiting tools and systems (such as applicant tracking or scheduling tools), as aligned with organizational practices.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment focused on hiring operational leaders for warehouse settings. The Recruiter I works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager, relying on established processes, instructions, and guidelines to perform daily tasks. Work is primarily office-based or remote-office based, depending on organizational arrangements, and involves frequent use of computers, recruiting systems, and communication tools to manage candidate pipelines and coordinate interviews.
