Accounting Coordinator

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support project accounting, client invoicing, subconsultant coordination, and finance administration across our offices. This full-time, hybrid role is a strong fit for an organized accounting or project administration professional who can manage detailed work, follow through on deadlines, and communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and vendors.

The Accounting Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative and accounting support for projects and key clients. This position coordinates purchase order setup, supports client and subconsultant invoicing, assists with project setup and billing documentation, and maintains accurate project records. The role works closely with Project Accountants, the Controller, finance teams, project managers, internal staff, and external clients to gather information, resolve coordination issues, and keep project accounting tasks on schedule. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple assignments with minimal supervision and will bring strong organizational skills, accuracy, sound judgment, and a dependable approach to completing work.

• Coordinate the creation and issuance of purchase orders for subconsultants, ensuring timely distribution and proper documentation.
• Track subconsultant Certificates of Insurance and follow up on pending documentation to ensure compliance and support project requirements.
• Gather supporting documents for completing Time and Materials billing.
• Review hours charged to interim projects and follow up with employees to ensure time is transferred to the appropriate project.
• Serve as a backup for daily cash application activities, ensuring timely and accurate posting of customer payments.
• Save, maintain, and upload client invoices monthly, providing support to Project Accountants and ensuring invoice records are accurately retained.
• Assist with data entry, report review, calendaring, expense reports, and other accounting and administrative tasks.
• Provide project and finance support to Project Accountants, the Unit Controller, and other finance team members as needed.

1+ years of experience in accounting support.

1+ years of experience in administrative coordination, project administration, or a related role.

High school graduate or GED.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.

Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively with limited supervision.

Self-motivated and driven to complete assignments and collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues.

Effective and proactive communicator both verbally and in written formats

This position offers a hybrid work environment, with a requirement of two in-office days per week in one of our offices. All candidates must be located in and eligible to work in the U.S.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $72,000 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the compensation scale for this role. Actual salaries will be determined based on location, experience, responsibilities, and qualifications. This salary range is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package, which includes benefits, professional development opportunities, and additional incentives.
