divh2Vehicle Process/Forklift/h2pJob Category: Operations Requisition Number: HIGHH004178/ppPosted: October 14, 2025/ppFull-Time/ppOn-site/ppBrunswick, GA 31523, USA/ph3Description/h3pstrongEssential Duties:/strong/pulliProcess check-in clipboard from Terminal Checker/Receiving Clerk./liliVerify drivers are wearing safety vests./liliInstruct drivers in cargo delivery./liliAssist drivers with unloading cargo safely./liliVerify VIN on vehicle with dock receipt./liliInspect vehicles for damages, steering, brake function, functioning drivers side door, foreign objects, and/or any noticeable damages./liliRecord inspection results on dock receipt./liliVerify delivered cargo matches description and quantity on dock receipt./liliApply handwritten label on drivers side front windshield./liliReturn dock receipts to office./liliCreate a copy of original dock receipt, return original to driver./liliDeliver copy to dock receipt to Title Processing/Data Entry Clerk for entry into Web application./liliComplete any re-measurements requested./liliEnsure optimal usage of available space to fit maximum cargo./liliVisually check cargo to verify units are placed in correct locations./liliApply scan labels to received cargo, drivers side rear window./liliComplete any special requests submitted from carriers./liliCoordinate cargo separation sorted by POD, Vessel, and then Cargo type./liliAssist Transporters with unloading of cargo when forklift is necessary./liliSupport Terminal Checker/Receiving Clerk and Vehicle Processors during peak times./liliScan cargo using load list and mark with dot for pre-stow clerk tick number./liliStage cargo according to priority given by carrier./liliNotify carrier if cargo requires mechanic or other special instructions./liliCoordinate cargo loading locations with stevedores./liliPost vessel operations as needed such as perform physical inventory, inspect cut units to verify reasoning, inspect import cargo condition upon receipt/liliPerform any end of day tasks to assist other terminal personnel./liliEnsure all documents and copies are presented in proper order./liliTurn in title packages to US Customs./liliPerform other duties and assigned./li/ulpstrongShift:/strong MondayFriday 8:00am5:00pm with the possibility of overtime and/or weekend work as directed by business need./ppstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliValid US Drivers License/liliObtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security/liliExperience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles/li/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/pulliForklift Certification/liliWorking knowledge of business math/liliBasic computer knowledge and experience with parts inventory control/liliEffective verbal and written communication skills/liliExperience in an auto port processing environment/liliAbility to follow verbal and written instructions/li/ulpstrongPhysical Working Conditions:/strong/pulliFrequent walking, standing, bending, occasional sitting./liliThe ability to climb up and down stairs and equipment multiple times within a shift./liliRequires physical ability to work on a ship and in a yard./liliThe ability to use a computer/keyboard./liliThe ability to work in changing hot and cold climates based on weather conditions./liliThe ability to work in an environment with moving objects and machinery./liliThe environment may be hazardous to persons unable to see or hear fast-moving heavy equipment/liliWork in tight spaces and congested quarters./liliLift, push, or pull up to 50lbs./li/ulpstrongNote:/strong This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
