Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN Nights

Now Hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) We are seeking caring and dedicated LPNs to join our supportive, resident‑focused team at Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Sarasota. Position Details Full‑time – Overnight 6PM to 6:30AM, 3 days per week, every other weekend Shift differentials: +$3/hour for weekly shifts, +$2/hour for weekend shifts Competitive starting rates Must be IV certified Walk‑In Interviews Every Tuesday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 5381 Desoto Rd, Sarasota, FL 34243. Responsibilities Admissions, discharge, and transfers of residents Medication requisitions with pharmacy and physicians Medication administration Follow infection control, emergencies, and other center policies Collaborate with resident’s interdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes Identify and report all abnormal changes in residents’ condition to proper personnel per center policy Work under direct supervision in accordance with state‑specific Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures, and nursing judgment Deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long‑term or rehabilitative care Collect patient/resident data, make observations, and report pertinent information related to the care of the patient/resident Implement the patient/resident plan of care and evaluate the patient/resident response according to state regulation Direct and supervise care given by other nursing personnel in selected situations, in accordance with state regulations Maintain knowledge of necessary documentation requirements Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance and use (monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.) Maintain confidentiality and patient/resident rights regarding all patient/resident/ personnel information Qualifications LPN licensed by the State of Florida CPR certification required Two years prior nursing experience preferred Benefits Daily pay – pay today, receive today Health insurance via Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Flexible scheduling Direct deposit Opportunities for overtime 24/7 telemedicine access for employees and families Support for child care and early education options Financial wellness tools and employee discounts Comfortable staffing ratios Supportive team environment with respect, dignity, and compassion This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hawthorne Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Sarasota
