Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

Speaks Law FirmSpeaks Law Firm is seeking a North Carolina Licensed Attorney with a passion for personal injury to join our legal team in Wilmington, NC.Responsibilities:Analyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interview clients and witnesses, consult field experts, and research statutes and case lawPrepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and other correspondenceCollaborate with Senior Attorneys to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positionsResolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trialParticipate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaignsQualifications:Active member of NC Bar Association requiredActive member of SC Bar Association preferredTwo (2) or more years of experience in personal injury pre-litigation or litigation preferredA willingness to learn and grow with our nationally recognized attorneys is a mustBilingual English and Spanish a plusProficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking requiredExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills requiredIntermediate to advanced computer skills requiredExperience with SmartAdvocate Software a plusPassion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude requiredCompensation:This is a full-time salary exempt position.
