Surgical Tech - Endoscopy

Primary Responsibilities Assist the physician and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies prior to each case Maintain procedural flow and assist with room turnover Perform endoscope handling, cleaning, and disinfection processes Complete manual cleaning steps, including leak testing and proper scope transport Operate automated endoscope reprocessors (AER) as trained Ensure proper documentation and tracking of scope usage and reprocessing Stock supplies and maintain inventory Clinical Expectations Demonstrates attention to detail in equipment handling and reprocessing Maintains awareness of procedural flow and prioritizes tasks accordingly Communicates effectively with the clinical team to support patient care Contributes to a coordinated, team-based approach to procedures Additional Responsibilities Support general clinical and operational needs of the center Maintain organization and cleanliness of procedure and reprocessing areas Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent – Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required Highly prefer previous endoscopy experience Position Details Part-Time/PRN Day shift On site-Madison, GA Pay Pay based on experience and qualifications Benefits No weekends or major holidays Supportive team environment Opportunity for work-life balance Work Environment This position is based in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask within a team-oriented environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr GastroCare Physicians of Georgia
