Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Med Surg for a travel assignment in New York, NY. This role involves working with a geriatric patient population within a state-of-the-art medical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using EPIC EMR systems and be open to floating to other MS units if necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Develop care plans for patients by assessing needs and health records
• Initiate emergency measures when necessary, including resuscitative actions
• Administer prescribed therapies including medications and IV treatments
• Conduct patient and family education on preventive and rehabilitative care
• Record and document clinical observations and therapeutic measures implemented
• Evaluate patient progress and update care plans accordingly
• Coordinate assignment activities and delegate appropriately among staff
• Guide and support nursing and auxiliary medical staff
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are maintained within the unit
• Promote professional growth and maintain competency in current practices

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active RN License
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• BLS Certification
• EPIC EMR experience required
