We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Service Representative to join our busy outpatient urology practice. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily front office operations. This is a temp to permanent position.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and medical records in the EMR system
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records as needed
- Assist with patient questions and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth office workflow
Qualifications
- Previous medical front desk, healthcare receptionist, or patient service experience preferred
- Experience in a specialty practice or urology setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
$14 - $16 per hour
