Job Description
The Transportation Manager will oversee a medium-sized team responsible for managing road transport operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role entails coordinating fleet management, route planning, and driver supervision while ensuring compliance and safety across all transportation activities. The manager will also collaborate closely with the logistics team to optimize performance and maintain regulatory standards within a non-travel role.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the company’s fleet of vehicles
Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery and transport schedules
Supervise and support a team of 10 drivers
Monitor compliance with transportation laws and safety regulations
Oversee safety protocols and implement corrective actions when needed
Coordinate logistics to ensure seamless delivery operations
Prepare and analyze performance reports for management review

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in transportation management
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Class B driver's license
Proficiency in route optimization and fleet management software
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
Skills in budgeting, leadership, communication, and problem solving
Effective time management abilities
