Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding care to a diverse patient population.Position OverviewShift: 12-hour days with weekend and holiday rotations required.Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week.Position will float between multiple locations within the region.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Emergency Room.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.Utilize electronic medical record systems effectively.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.Participate in unit activities and may be asked to precept new staff as needed.Float to different units as required based on patient care needs.QualificationsMust possess current nursing licensure.3 or more years of nursing experience, specifically in emergency care.Must have experience with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS.Successful completion of the Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (minimum passing score of 83%) is required prior to contract signing, with three attempts allowed.Patient Care EnvironmentLevel III Trauma Center, primarily serving a region of multiple counties.Averaging 135 patients daily.Nurse-to-patient ratios vary based on acuity levels, with ratios ranging from 1:3-4 in general acute care beds to 1:1-2 for trauma cases.Access to on-site support services including security, respiratory therapy, and laboratory services.Culture and Team EnvironmentOur team promotes a supportive and collaborative work environment.
