Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Unit

Patient Population: Ages 10 through elderly

Patient Volume: 52 patients per shift

EMR: Cerner

Call: No call

Schedule: Seeking a provider interested in a full-time, long-term commitment

Candidate Preference: Local candidate who can commute to the facility

Availability / Commitment

Start: October 1, 2026

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule Preference: Full-time

Commitment: Long-term stability is required. The practice is expanding and is seeking a provider willing to remain for a significant period rather than someone looking for minimal shifts or short-term coverage.

Licensure

Massachusetts License: Active MA license required

Practice Status: Candidate must meet Massachusetts requirements to practice independently

Certifications

Board Certification: Required

ACLS: Required

BLS: Required

PALS: Required

Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2+ years

Specialty: Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Independent Practice: Candidate must have sufficient experience and credentials to practice independently in Massachusetts

Clinical Responsibilities

Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit

Patient Population: Pediatric through geriatric patients, starting at age 10

Patient Volume: Approximately 52 patients per shift

Admissions: Required

Rounding: Assigned and unassigned rounding patients

Call: No call
