Controller

An established company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will oversee the integrity of financial records, monthly and year-end close, internal controls, cash management, AP/AR, audit support, tax coordination, and team leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for a strong technical accountant who enjoys partnering with leadership, improving processes, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cash, fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany activityOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAPManage reconciliations, account analysis, and variance reportingMaintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsOversee inventory accounting, costing, reserves, and physical inventory processesPartner with operations on manufacturing cost analysis, margins, and inventory controlsMonitor cash activity, receivables, collections, vendor payments, and approval controlsCoordinate annual audit activities and support tax compliance requirementsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reportingLead process improvements, system enhancements, and automation effortsMentor and develop accounting staffQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field7+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior Controller or senior accounting leadership experienceManufacturing and inventory accounting experience strongly preferredStrong U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, audit, and internal controls knowledgeERP experience and advanced Excel skills requiredBenefitsComprehensive benefits are available for eligible employees.
