• Location: Anchorage/Eagle River, Alaska
• Job Type: Fulltime - Onsite
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Work Arrangement: In-Person, with hybrid flexibility for the right candidate
• Salary: $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience

A growing boutique law firm specializing in estate planning and criminal defense is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its team.

Position Overview:

The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and clients to support estate planning matters from initial intake through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating directly with clients, and able to take initiative in a growing office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, appointments, and updates on their estate plans.
• Answer phones and handle new client intake.
• Schedule client meetings and manage calendars.
• Assist attorneys with drafting estate planning documents.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Record deeds and file documents with courts and other appropriate offices.
• Maintain organized client files and documentation.
• Follow up with clients and assist attorneys in keeping matters on schedule.
• Help create and improve office systems and processes.
• Provide general paralegal and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior paralegal or legal office experience preferred.
• Estate planning or probate experience is a plus.
• Formal paralegal education is not required, but is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a small, collaborative office environment.
• Candidates currently located in Alaska are strongly preferred .

Compensation & Benefits:

• $55,000-$70,000 annual salary, depending on experience
