About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Originations to play a pivotal role in the expansion of its lending platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating lower middle market debt investments, with a primary focus on recurring revenue and cash-flow term loans, to software, SaaS, and tech-enabled services companies. This is a highly relationship-driven position, requiring the individual to source opportunities through established intermediary channels such as technology-focused investment banking boutiques, venture capital investors, and growth equity sponsors. The role demands a professional with 8-15+ years' experience in private credit origination, investment banking, or venture lending, and a strong network of relationships within the technology and financial sectors. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Originations include maintaining a strong credit-first mindset, partnering with internal underwriting and credit teams, and representing the firm at industry events. The ideal candidate will have a background in tech-focused banking or lending platforms, with a demonstrated ability to generate consistent deal flow and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to their work. The role is based on the East Coast, with a preference for candidates located in New York or the broader East Coast region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firm with long-term family office backing and to take on a key role in the company's East Coast origination activities.
