Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC (must be from AHA) Must-Have: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation Description: 26 Weeks in the Emergency Department. It is a 198 bed, level III trauma center. The facility includes state-of-the-art operating suites. Various Trauma level I, II, and III cases are flown to the facility. Healthcare services are provided to a diverse region. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care. The facility also has a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Accreditations include PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory. Recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Clients in the U.S. Awarded the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare. The geographic area features three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six National Parks. There are thousands of acres available for off-roading and recreation. The surrounding area offers opportunities for adventure and exploration. Attractions include hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The emergency department has a capacity of 48 beds with flexible space. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track. Equipment includes Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, and Ultrasound Guided IV. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. The patient population includes individuals with ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric needs. Common diagnoses and treatment areas include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
