Position Overview :

Director of Operations will serve as the on-site lead on all operational matters. Will oversee security staffing as well as oversite of RAs on site. Will also oversee driver and van. Will be versed in security and operational policies, and procedures. Director of Operations will be the liaison between the program and hotel management ensuring safety and cleanliness of hotel is maintained. In addition, the Director of Operations will manage procurement needs and logistics, in partnership with other city agencies.

Position Qualifications :

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 successful years managing a facility, shelter or immigration site. Must have an understanding of policies and procedures as well as billing related to working and maintaining a facility. Must be able to manage and schedule staff. Must be familiar with CARES or have the ability to learn quickly. Must be flexible in terms of hours as this may require calls and responses off hours. Must possess a NYS driver’s license.
