Medical Assistant Opportunity

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Good telephone communication skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of medical procedures
• Knowledge of clerical functions
• Current CPR card (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Relevant certification/license if applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay Rate: $26/hr

Modality: Medical Assistant

Openings: 3

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Hours per Week: 40

Contract Length: 13 Week(s)

Start Date: 05/11/2026

Details of Assignment: Temp to perm. Extensions in 3-month increments usually with conversion to perm after 6 months. Candidates MUST be wanting to convert to perm. This is not meant to end after the temp 3-6 month period.

Charting System: Epic

Client Interview Required: Yes

Client Interview Details: 1st round: 20 min meet and greet virtual call with center director 2nd round: 1 hour on site interview with 3 person panel and site tour
