Senior Finance Manager Salt Lake City, UT | Job ID: 49694 The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for agreed upon business segments of the PKI‑IoT business unit. The role focuses on General Ledger accuracy, integrity, and financial close, applying accounting principles across AP, AR, collections, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, compensation, and benefits. The position consolidates four current operating entities, generates financial statements, and prepares inputs for the management reporting system. In addition, the Senior Finance Manager will perform financial planning and analysis, establish an annual budget, reforecast, and analyze variances to support leadership in controlling costs and executing business strategy. Responsibilities Manage and execute the month‑end close process including booking journal entries, approving entries, preparing reconciliations, and approving reconciliations. Maintain the general ledger on Epicor, including all sub‑ledgers, system reports, and account mappings. Serve as Epicor accounting system and ARM PO system SME, managing upgrades and troubleshooting issues. Act as Project Manager for future migrations, handling Chart of Accounts mapping, new bank account setups, supplier and customer onboarding, etc. Account for compensation and benefits expense, recording and validating payroll, benefits, commissions, recruiting, and contract labor costs. Oversee customer billings, accounts receivable, collections, deferred revenue accounting, intergroup and intercompany accounting, cash accounting, and bank reconciliations. Supervise prepaids, lease accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable, AP accruals, budgeting, and forecasting. Enter reporting data into HID management reporting system (Oracle & OneStream). Manage sales and use taxes and administer sales tax system (Avalara AvaTax). Report income tax, property tax, sales tax, and 1099. Maintain required business licenses. Manage supplier and customer master records. Provide finance review of all purchase orders. Handle treasury tasks including approving pay runs, ACH batches and wires, maintaining bank relationships, updating signatories, and opening/closing accounts. Manage corporate cards and Travel & Expense (T&E) reporting system. Manage payroll and payroll tax reporting. Prepare fluctuation analyses. Implement and document internal controls and procedures. Manage annual internal controls assessment and support auditors. Propose enhancements or changes to current accounting functions and systems. Provide ad‑hoc reporting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (equivalent education plus relevant experience also acceptable). Minimum 10 years of professional accounting or finance experience. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with professionalism. Capability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with tight month‑end deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
