About the Cleveland Sirens:

The Cleveland Sirens are Cleveland's WNBA franchise, the league's 16th, set to tip off in 2028 at Rocket Arena. Introduced to the world on August 4, 2026, the Sirens brand was co-authored with the community over a 13-month process that engaged tens of thousands of people across Northeast Ohio. The name draws on Lake Erie, the region's defining natural asset, and the Siren herself is sharp, fearless and unapologetic, power, and a symbol of something greater than herself.

This is a build-from-zero opportunity. The Sirens have already banked 12,000 season ticket membership initial payments and run over 40 community events reaching more than 3,500 girls across the region, but the marketing organization, fan base and inaugural-season plan are still being built. Rock Entertainment Group is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Growth Marketing Coordinator to assist with the organization's Communications, Digital and Marketing Teams in the development and deployment of all email & SMS marketing campaigns (marketing and transactional). We are looking for a candidate with a desire to help grow into a business leader while optimizing the existing, successful email, push notification & SMS programs for the Cleveland Sirens (WNBA) and assist as needed with Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), Cleveland Charge (NBA G-League team), Cleveland Monsters (AHL team), and Rocket Arena. This candidate will have the opportunity to create and execute multiple new and exciting initiatives to grow our omni-channel marketing and automation program.

Under the guidance of the department's team leader, the Growth Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of the Cleveland Sirens' omni-channel marketing campaigns (marketing and transactional), management of email, push notification & SMS databases, creation of team-related newsletters, and analyzing campaign performance. This position will focus on building the Cleveland Sirens database and strategy towards the team's first season in 2028.

ESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the organization's omni-channel marketing efforts by utilizing best practices, optimizing for conversion, engagement, and retention across email, push notifications, SMS, and the organization's chat bot technology partner.
• Help maintain the email marketing calendar and manage email production for each of our organization's teams and arena with a focus on the Cleveland Sirens.
• Build and maintain omni-channel journeys and automations mainly focused on lead generation and warming.
• Coordinate creative assets with design team from all areas of the organization to ensure all email content is on brand, consistent in style, quality and voice while advising on best practices and template improvements.
• Lead QA process; be held accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of all executed campaigns.
• Play a key role in the implementation and refinement of UTM tracking and other link tracking initiatives to monitor and report on sales performance, optimizing campaigns based on data insights and ensuring continuous improvement in sales strategy execution.
• Communicate monthly KPI reports to highlight performance trends and sales revenue generated from email, push notifications, and SMS marketing efforts.
• Ensure deliverables and email/push/SMS deployments stay on schedule.
• Assist with email, push, SMS signup acquisition and generation strategy.
• Analyze user feedback across email, push, SMS, and chatbot channels to help identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1-3 years' experience with email and online marketing preferred.
• Project management skills to manage calendars and creative assets within a deadline-driven environment.
• Desire to grow into a business leader while working well in a team environment.
• Desire to seize opportunities and take initiative without needing to be told.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, preferably with experience specific to emails.
• Knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance.
• Experience-based knowledge of Adobe Web Premium programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver is preferred.
• Familiarity with responsive email design a plus.
• Attention to detail without compromising speed in execution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences.
• Excellent written communication skills with focus on ad copy.
• Must be organized, highly motivated and team-oriented.
• Maturity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and game nights as assigned.
