Technical Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Researching and interpreting accounting guidance, the full-time Technical Accountant will support accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and SAP, while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders in a remote, hybrid, or onsite capacity. Key responsibilities Research and analyze accounting guidance related to transactions, contracts, and regulatory developments Prepare accounting position papers and technical memoranda documenting conclusions and rationale Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial reporting standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required Master's degree in Accounting or CPA designation, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting, or financial reporting required Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior role, such as Sr. Auditor or Sr. Accountant, required Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
