Senior Technical Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a complex healthcare services organization, the full-time Senior Technical Accountant will research and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance, prepare audit-ready documentation, and analyze complex transactions while working remotely. Key responsibilities Research and interpret accounting standards, preparing clear technical accounting memoranda Analyze complex transactions including business combinations, revenue recognition, and consolidations Collaborate with various departments to assess accounting implications and ensure accurate financial reporting Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in technical accounting or financial reporting CPA certification preferred, with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday or Oracle, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with IFRS is a plus Virtual Vocations Inc
