Senior professionals will mentor the selected candidate to grow into roles such as Technical Lead, Project Manager, and/or Client Services Manager for planning, pilot studies, modeling, engineering design, design-build, asset management, digital technology, business consulting, and engineering services during construction.The firm maintains a strong backlog of leading-edge projects, including:Innovative "OneWater” designs, technologies, and pilot studiesDevelopment of best practices and decision support toolsArtificial intelligence and collaborative project deliverySustainable water/wastewater/reclaimed water designs and LIDsAsset management, CMOM, and "smart utility" consultingThe role involves collaboration in various facets of engineering design and project execution, task/project management, business development, and internal operations. Candidates should be well-organized, self-motivated leaders capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team setting.Overview of Responsibilities:Prepare or oversee engineering calculations, AutoCAD 3D designs, assessments, studies, master plans, models, construction drawings, specs, permit applications, and reportsServe as Project Manager or Technical Lead depending on scale/complexityLead pilot studies, reports, GIS/CADD/modeling efforts, CEI services, and stakeholder outreachSupport business development, proposals, presentations, project schedules, budgets, and cost evaluationsResearch innovative technologies, regulations, and methodsCoordinate with clients, sub consultants, vendors, and internal teamOccasional travel within SW to West Central Florida for site visits, pilots, and client meetingsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringAt least six (6) years of engineering experienceFlorida PE license or ability to obtain within 4 monthsProficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Strong communication skills and project management experienceAbility to oversee support staff including engineers and CADD designersPreferred Qualifications:Experience with AutoCAD 3D, GIS, modeling/hydraulics, database managementMaster’s degree in water/wastewater, water resources, or site developmentPrior project management experience or training
