Reports to: Corporate Manager of Marketing & Business Development

Location: Anacortes, Washington — In Office

Status: Full-Time, Hourly

Pay Range: $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator provides day-to-day support to the company’s marketing and selling activities. Working from our corporate headquarters in Anacortes, this position supports the Corporate Manager of Marketing & Business Development as well as a team of remote Business Development Managers.

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping projects moving, communicating with customers and colleagues, and managing the many details that support an effective sales and marketing organization. Responsibilities span customer support, product sampling, trade shows and events, sales administration, marketing execution, CRM maintenance, and internal project coordination.

The successful candidate will be organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and willing to jump between different types of work as needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Corporate Manager of Marketing & Business Development and multiple remote sales managers.

- Receive product sample requests, coordinate fulfillment with internal departments, and follow through to ensure samples are completed and shipped as requested.

- Respond to customer requests for regulatory, quality, and compliance documentation by coordinating with the Quality Assurance department and ensuring requests are completed in a timely manner.

- Retrieve sales reports and other information from the company’s ERP system in response to requests from sales management.

- Communicate with customers regarding purchase order changes, delivery updates, scheduling changes, and other routine order-related matters.

- Maintain and update customer portals, including uploading product images, specifications, descriptions, documentation, and other required information.

- Assist with planning and hosting customer visits to the company’s Anacortes facility.

- Maintain customer, contact, opportunity, and activity information in HubSpot CRM.

Events, Sampling & Trade Shows

- Coordinate and help execute in-store product demonstrations, sampling programs, and other customer or consumer events.

- Work with retailers, sales managers, demonstrators, and internal teams to coordinate event schedules, product availability, materials, and other logistics.

- Assist with trade show planning and execution, including registration, logistics, product samples, booth materials, shipping, schedules, and post-show follow-up.

- Provide onsite support at trade shows, customer events, and other company activities as needed.

Marketing Support

- Provide light executional support for company social media activities.

- Assist with photo shoots, content gathering, and other marketing projects as needed.

- Upload and schedule completed social media content across company platforms.

- Assist with organizing marketing assets, product photography, sales materials, and other digital content.

- Support the preparation and distribution of marketing materials, sales presentations, and meeting materials.

This position supports social media execution but is not responsible for developing or managing the company’s overall social media strategy.

Project & Administrative Coordination

- Create and maintain simple project timelines, task lists, and status updates for marketing, sales, product, and customer initiatives.

- Follow up with internal and external participants to help keep projects and requests moving toward completion.

- Coordinate information and materials between sales, marketing, Quality Assurance, operations, and other departments.

- Maintain organized records and files related to customers, projects, events, samples, and marketing activities.

- Provide other general marketing, business development, and sales support as business needs require.
