Tech Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Tech Support Specialist to support the day-to-day technology needs of our warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all technology systems, computers, printers, scanners, Wi‑Fi-connected devices, and network equipment are functioning properly. This is a temporary position! Key Responsibilities Set up, configure, and deploy desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, barcode scanners, and other warehouse technology. Ensure all devices are properly connected to the company Wi‑Fi and network. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Provide technical support to warehouse employees and office staff. Install software updates, security patches, and system upgrades. Monitor and maintain warehouse technology to minimize downtime. Configure user accounts, passwords, and device access as needed. Coordinate with internet service providers and third‑party vendors when necessary. Perform routine inspections of technology equipment to identify and resolve potential issues. Replace or repair malfunctioning hardware. Maintain inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and spare parts. Document technical issues, resolutions, and equipment installations. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and technology. Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of IT support or technical support experience. Experience troubleshooting Windows PCs, printers, networking equipment, and Wi‑Fi connectivity. Basic knowledge of networking concepts including routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networking. Experience with barcode scanners, mobile devices, or warehouse technology is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
