Job Description

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our critical care team in Waycross, GA. The unit is approved for travelers and encompasses a range of responsibilities catered to managing critically ill patients.

General Information

• Unit: ICU
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 2:1; 3:1 with downgraded patients
• Staffing: 1 Unit Secretary available for the critical care area
• Type of Equipment: Monitored private rooms, Alaris IV pumps, Respiratory Ventilators
• Documentation System: MediTech Expanse

Scheduling Requirements

• Position title and every other weekend commitment
• Floating policy: Voluntary based on area expertise

Patient Experience Requirements

• Experience with Cardiac, Respiratory, DKA, and Sepsis patients

Certifications

• Required: BLS & ACLS
• Advanced skills needed in vital signs monitoring, A-Line monitoring, and drip management

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy Blue Nurse scrubs
