Description Medical Group Practices Nursing Are you looking for a full‑time, 36‑hour M‑F 8:00-5:00 4 nine‑hour shifts nursing role where you can build meaningful relationships with patients while making a lasting impact on their health and well‑being? Join the Primary Care team at Waldo Medical Facility , with 22 exam rooms and currently 8 providers. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced providers, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff in a team‑oriented environment focused on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. You'll support patients through preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, care coordination, and wellness initiatives while helping them achieve their health goals. Primary care offers the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with patients and families, providing continuity of care that allows you to see the direct impact of your work over time. You’ll play an important role in helping patients navigate their healthcare journey while serving as a trusted resource and advocate. For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign‑on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0‑2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience! Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part‑time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for part‑time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Summary The MH Registered Nurse II – Primary Care role provides high‑quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice. MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, they demonstrate how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as an RN I – must be in good standing and meet RN I requirements. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).
